For the respondents A report in form of an affidavit filed by the respondents no.1, 2 and 3 in terms of the orders dated 7th February, 2020 and 2nd March, 2022 is taken on record. A copy of the report has been already served on the petitioners.

The main prayer in the writ petition is a direction upon the respondent authorities to start the process of appointment for the posts of Homoeopathic Pharmacists in respect of vacancies as advertised in the newspaper. After considering the report, I find that the rules for recruitment of Homoeopathic Pharmacist have been notified on 18th February, 2021 and the West Bengal Health Recruitment Board, which is not a party to the proceedings, has been directed by a memo dated 25th October, 2021 to proceed with the selection process.

In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I find that the grievances of the petitioners to the extent to complete the selection process have been proceeded with to a great extent.

No further relief can be claimed or granted in this writ petition in the aforesaid facts and circumstances. It is expected that the respondents shall complete the selection and recruitment process in accordance with law at the earliest.

Since I have not called for any affidavits, allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have not been admitted.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of necessary formalities.
