The writ petition is directed against an order dated DL-5 03.08.2023 Court No.5 (AD) April 26, 2023 passed by the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal in OA-4252 of 2022.

Learned Advocate appearing for the writ petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of the proceedings. The original application was filed sometime in 2022. The writ petitioner waited from April 26, 2023 till today to move the High Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. It took the writ petitioner three months to approach the High Court. By the impugned order, the Tribunal fixed the next date on December 19, 2023 (incorrectly written as December 19, 2022). By the impugned order, the Tribunal also found that the Principal Secretary, UDMA was a necessary party-respondent to the proceeding and, therefore, directed addition of such party to the proceeding with

service upon such added respondent.

We find no infirmity in the impugned order warranting interference.

In such circumstances, we find no merit in the present writ petition.

WPLRT 92 of 2023 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
