1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a dispute cropped up between the siblings and as a result thereof a false complaint has been lodged against the present petitioner.

2. Learned counsel for the State has produced the case diary and referred to the statement of the de facto complainant and the injured.

3. Considering the materials available in the case diary, the nature and extent of the petitioner in the commission of the alleged offence and having regard to the injury sustained which does not appear to be grievous in nature, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond Signed By :

of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, corresponding to Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. The petitioners shall cooperate with investigation and appear before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranaghat, Nadia within two weeks form date.

5. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is allowed.
