The petitioner and the 3rd respondent are represented.

None appears on behalf of other respondents.

The petitioner submits that he has no claim against the 1st, 2nd and 4th respondent.

The petitioner's case is that he was an employee under the 4th respondent for about 26 years till the company closed down on or about 25th December, 2003. The petitioner has remained unemployed since then and has not received the provident fund and pension dues. The petitioner filed a representation to that effect before the 3rd respondent on 16th September, 2021 and prays for a direction upon the said respondent for disposal of the same at the earliest.

It is submitted on behalf of the 3rd respondent that the claim of the petitioner shall be looked into by the

authority and if it is found that the petitioner is entitled, the authority shall do the needful.

Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner dated 16th September, 2021 within two months from the date of communication of this order by a reasoned order, after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties including the petitioner, in accordance with law. The 3rd respondent should communicate the said order to the petitioner within a week thereafter.

With such observation, WPA 18986 of 2021 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
