Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Mr. Manoranjan Mahata, learned advocate who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. His appointment may be regularized by the concerned Authorities in due course. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is in custody since 2020 and till date out of the 13 witnesses so relied upon by the prosecution only 4 witnesses have been examined. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner is in custody for more than three years, I direct the learned trial court in this case to fix at least one schedule consisting of three dates on every month till the trial is completed.

No unnecessary adjournments should be granted to either of the parties.

The Superintendent of Police would render all his assistance for execution of the process in respect of the witnesses who have

been cited by the prosecution in the chargesheet. The Public Prosecutor appearing in the case would produce the materials, documents and exhibits on the dates fixed for examination of the witnesses concerned. All efforts be taken by the stake-holders to complete the trial at the earliest.

With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional application being CRR 2768 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. [Tirthankar Ghosh, J]
