Mr. Lakshmi Nath Bhattacharya ...for the petitioner Mr. Jahar Datta, Mr. Pasupati Sana ...for the State The writ petitioner complained to the Mandir Bazar Block, South 24 Parganas for alleged misappropriation of funds for the construction of a poultry shed provided by the government.

The misappropriation has been allegedly done by the Pradhan of the Krishnapur Gram Panchayat. The complaint dated 14th September, 2021 has not been disposed of till date.

In that view of the matter, the BDO, Mandir Bazar Block being respondent no.6, shall dispose of the petitioner's representation and if necessary, cause an enquiry into the allegation against the Pradhan of the aforesaid Gram Panchayat and take remedial measures immediately.

Let a copy of this order be also served to the District Magistrate, South 24 Parganas to over see compliance.

If the allegation of the petitioner is found to be correct, appropriate and remedial measures shall be adopted by the BDO.

With this observation the instant writ petition is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of all formalities, on priority basis.
