1. Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

2. Petitioner made an application for transfer on portal on 26th December, 2021 but it is submitted by the learned advocate representing the petitioner that school authority where petitioner is presently working till date has not forwarded said transfer application to the concerned District Inspector of Schools (SE) Purba Bardhaman being respondent no. 5. It is submitted reason for not forwarding transfer application to the respondent no. 5 by the school authority is petitioner is single teacher in the subject in the school.

3. Respondents are represented by learned advocates and it is contended that if applicant teacher is single teacher in the subject in the school, school authority is required to forward transfer application to the

concerned District Inspector of Schools (SE) for taking steps in terms of Government notification dated 3rd January, 2022.

4. In view of submissions made on behalf of the parties and taking note of the notification dated 3rd January, 2022 head of the institution of Kasemnagar B.N.T.P Girls High School (HS) Purba Bardhaman being respondent no. 6 is directed to forward transfer application of the petitioner by fortnight from the date of communication of this order in offline mode. On receipt of transfer application respondent no. 5 is directed to make endeavour to find out teacher of neighbouring school who can be deputed in the school of the petitioner to facilitate petitioner's transfer. If teacher is found from neighbouring school and deputed in the school of the petitioner, petitioner shall be transferred immediately thereafter in accordance with law.

5. Writ petition stands disposed of.
