The petitioner seeks certain information under the Right to Information Act, 2005. Application under the said Act was made by the petitioner in July, 2022. Being aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the authority to provide the required information, the instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner in July, 2023.

During the course of argument, learned advocate for the respondents has placed on record the report of the Assistant Director and Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Kaliganj, Naida dated 13th May, 2023. The same divulges certain information. The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the said information is incomplete and not enough for the petitioner. He seeks further information.

It will be open for the petitioner to approach the competent forum for obtaining further information, in accordance with law, if so advised.

It is made clear that the Court has not entered into the merits of the prayer of the petitioner and the competent authority will act accordingly if any application is made by the petitioner.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
