1. The petitioner says that he is innocent. He did not murder his wife. He is in custody for 302 days. He prays for bail.

2. Opposing the prayer for bail, learned advocate for the State draws our attention to the material in the case diary. The post mortem report records the cause of death as manual strangulation. There are witnesses of statements recorded under Section 161 of Cr.P.C. which also implicate the petitioner.

3. In view of the prima facie incriminating material-on-record, we are not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

4. CRM (DB) 2362 of 2024 is dismissed.
