The present revisional application has been preferred praying for expeditious disposal of the proceeding being NDPS Case No.03 of 2018 arising out of Lalgola Police Station Case No.619 of 2017 dated 23.12.2017 under Sections 21(c)/29 of the NDPS Act, pending before the learned Judge, Special Court constituted under the NDPS Act at Berhampore, Murshidabad.

As there is no representation on behalf of the State, Ms. Puspita Saha, learned empanelled Advocate of the State present in court is appointed to represent the State.

Learned Public Prosecutor is requested to regularise her appointment.

Considering nature of the prayer of the present revision, the revisional application is disposed of with the direction to the trial court to dispose of the proceedings in the present case within a period of six months from the date of this order, if not already disposed of.

The criminal revision is accordingly disposed of. Application, if any, connected thereto stands disposed of.

Let a copy of the order be sent to the learned trial court for compliance and to proceed with the trial expeditiously, if not disposed of, in accordance with law.

Learned counsel for the State to inform the status of this case to the concerned authority.
