The petitioner contested the Panchayat General Elections, 2023. She complains of massive rigging, violence, booth capturing on the day of the election on July 8, 2023.

A complaint was lodged before the Panchayat Returning Officer on July 14, 2023 followed by reminders on July 15, 2023 & July 16, 2023.

The petitioner prays for preservation of the ballot papers and the CCTV footages on the day of the poll. It appears that the Hon'ble PIL Bench has already passed order on July 4, 2023 in WPA(P) 301 of 2023 regarding preservation of the CCTV footages and the ballot papers.

In view of the above, no further order is required to be passed in the instant writ petition.

The respondents shall take steps in terms of the order passed by the Hon'ble PIL Bench.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
