1. Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

2. Considered the materials placed before us including the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. and her injury report.

3. Regard being had to the gravity of the offence and seriousness of the charge, we are not inclined to exercise our discretion under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in favour of the petitioner.

4. The prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
