1. Affidavit of service filed be kept with the record.

2. The writ application has been preferred praying for expeditious disposal of the Gratuity Case No.02/G/2021, now pending before the Learned Controlling Authority, i.e., respondent no.2 herein.

3. On hearing the Learned Counsels for the parties and on perusal of the materials on record, it appears that the Gratuity Case was

initiated in the year 2021 and till date the said case is still pending.

4. Accordingly, the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the Controlling Authority being the respondent no.2 herein, shall dispose of the Gratuity Case being no.02/G/2021 within three months from the date of this order, in accordance with law.

5. Let a copy of this order be sent to the Labour Commissioner, Government of West Bengal to ensure that all Gratuity Cases are disposed of in accordance with law expeditiously, the benefit being under a beneficial legislation.

6. The Writ application is disposed of.

7. Applications, if any, connected thereto stand disposed of consequently.

8. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

9. Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis upon compliance of all formalities.
