Affidavit of service has been filed, let it be taken on record. 2.

Learned counsel for the State has filed a report of Investigating Officer, Madhura Ghosh along with the selfdeclaration of de facto complainant, Meghna Lakhotia wherein she has stated that they have reached to an amicable settlement and are living peacefully as husband and wife. The statement of Meghna Lakhotia has also been filed. Mr. Akshay Lakhotia and Mrs. Meghna Lakhotia have also appeared in the Court virtually. 3.

During the interaction both of them have stated that they have entered into the settlement voluntarily without any fear,

force and coercion and they are living together for the last two months.

Both the parties submit that they have arrived at the settlement. The parties have duly been identified by their respective learned counsels.

It is a matrimonial dispute and since both the parties have settled the dispute amicably, there would be no purpose of continuing with the present case, hence the Ballygunge Police Station Case No.74 of 2025 dated 2nd May, 2025 under Sections 85/316(2) of the BNS, 2023 read with Section 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and all proceedings arising thereof are quashed. 6.

Petition and all pending applications stands disposed of. 7.
