The writ petitioner is aggrieved by a communication dated 25th October, 2021 issued by the Council of Homoeopathic Medicine, West Bengal. The petitioner claims to have passed the D.H.M.S. Examination conducted by the Council in the year 2000. He did not apply for registration as a Homoeopathic Medical Practitioner after 18 years later. Reason cited by the Counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner's father was an eminent Homoeopathic Doctor and the petitioner does not need any registration as a Doctor. He has applied for such registration immediately before the death of his father in the year 2019.

This Court notes that the application of the petitioner for registration is thoroughly belated and his application for registration as Homoeopathic Doctor has been rightly rejected by the Council.

This Court finds that the instant writ petition is wholly frivolous and devoid of merit and is hereby dismissed.

There will be no order as to costs.
