The prayer in the writ petition is for a direction on the respondents to dispose of the representations made by the writ petitioner on 30th June, 2021 and 16th November, 2021 for extension of lease granted to the petitioner for operating Ferry Ghat at Murshidabad.

Learned counsel appearing for the concerned Gram Panchayat hands up a document dated 11th December, 2021 containing a decision of the Samiti of the Panchayat granting an extension to the petitioner to operate the Ferry Ghat till 31st December, 2022. The same may be taken on record.

The petitioner is not aware of this document and a copy of such document is given to the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is agreeable to the proposal and submits that the writ petition may be disposed of on that basis. WPA 19067 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings.
