1. Petitioner is in custody for over a year. She prays for bail.

2. Learned counsel for the State opposes the bail prayer.

3. We have considered the materials on record. 340 grams of heroin was recovered from the petitioner. Trial has commenced and charge has been framed.

4. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. We request the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date preferably within a period of one year from the next date of recording of evidence without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

6. The application for bail is disposed of.
