The petitioners seek benefit in terms of the order dated 6th January, 2021 passed in a series of writ petitions by Hon'ble Justice Rajarshi Bharadwaj. The petitioners in paragraph 14 of the writ petition have mentioned that "Your petitioners filed writ petition being W.P.A. 251 of 2021 before this Hon'ble Court". The learned Advocate for the petitioners, however, candidly submits that the aforesaid writ petition was not filed by the petitioners herein.

The learned Advocate for the petitioners'

volunteers that the writ petitioners filed WPA 345 of 2021 (Munmun Mandal & Ors. Vs. State of West Bengal & Ors). On a query from the Court the learned Advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners herein were not parties in the writ petition of Munmun Mandal & Ors. (Supra).

In view of the above, it is clear that the petitioners were not parties to the writ petition where order was passed on 6th January, 2021 permitting the petitioners therein to file offline applications, as such the benefit of the order passed in the said writ petition cannot be extended in favour of the petitioners herein. Accordingly, no relief can be granted to the petitioners.

The writ petition stands dismissed.
