Learned advocate representing the petitioners submits that the issue relates to the selection process namely 1st SLST 2016 (Classes IX and X). Petitioners have prayed for consideration of their candidatures since they participated in the aforesaid selection process. It has been brought to the notice of this Court by the learned advocates representing the parties that entire selection process of 1st SLST 2016 (Classes IX, X, XI and XII) has been set aside by the Hon'ble Division Bench and the issue is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

In view of pendency of the issue before the Hon'ble Supreme Court no order need be passed in this writ petition and the same is accordingly dismissed, without any order as to costs.

However, this order shall not preclude the petitioners to take steps in accordance with law if situation so arises in future.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
