The petitioner alleges that her request for education loan was not processed by the State Bank of India, Kalyani Branch. Learned Advocate for the State Bank of India has supplied a document which indicates that the petitioner did not meet the eligibility criteria for grant of education loan and the request was rejected.

A copy of the rejection has been handed over to the learned Advocate-on-record for the petitioner.

However, this Court is of the view that a formal letter should be issued to the petitioner within two weeks from date, indicating the reason as to why the criteria was not fulfilled by the petitioner and what were the deficiencies in her score. The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
