The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that he preferred an application under the relevant provisions of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 being Misc. Case No.05 of 2020. However, till date although several dates have been fixed but there is no progress in the case.

In view of the submissions advanced by the learned advocate for the petitioner that the matter is pending for about 3 years, I direct that the interim prayers/reliefs which have been prayed for by the petitioner be disposed of on the next date so fixed or within a month thereafter. Learned Judicial Magistrate, Jhargram would pass an order in respect of the interim reliefs by 30th September, 2023.

No unnecessary adjournment should be granted to either of the parties.

Learned magistrate would fix one date in every month for the purpose of the case so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 2788 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of such requisite formalities.
