The application being CAN 2 of 2022 has been filed seeking condonation of delay of 25 days.

For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed. Delay in filing of the appeal is condoned. 3.

Accordingly, CAN 2 of 2022 is allowed.

Re.: MAT 1304 of 2022 With CAN 1 of 2022 4.

The appeal is directed against an order dated 13th June, 2022 passed by a Single Bench of this Court whereby the Court refused to pass an interim order of stay of the order dated 22nd April, 2022 under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

This Court is in complete agreement with the reasoning of the Single Bench in the order dated 13th June, 2022, that there is no scope for any interim order in respect of the order impugned in the writ petition. 6.

The Single Bench has called for affidavits from the respondents.

Time to file affidavit-in-opposition by the respondents is extended by a period of three weeks from date. Reply, if any, be filed with a period of one week thereafter.

Liberty to mention before the Single Bench for final hearing after pleadings are completed.

With the aforesaid direction, the appeal is disposed of. Consequently, all connected pending applications, if any, are also disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
