1. Report filed by the State be kept with the records.

2. Learned APP, while opposing the bail prayer, draws our attention to the depositions of the two victim girls, one 10 years old and one 12 years old. The victim girls very clearly narrate the heinous incident.

3. In view of the aforesaid, we are not inclined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage.

4. CRM (DB) 2378 of 2024 is dismissed.

5. However, considering the prolonged detention of the petitioner, we direct the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial to the fullest extent and conclude the same within six months from the next date fixed for recording of evidence, without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties and by fixing frequent schedules.

6. We clarify that in the event the trial is not concluded within the time period indicated herein, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
