Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of GR Case No.1024 of 2021 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Barrackpore, the matter may be considered without service of notice upon the opposite party.

The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. This Court is informed that the case is pending since 2021 and charge is yet to be considered. In view of the above, the learned Trial Court is directed to consider charge on the next date of hearing fixed before him and if the same is not possible due to unavoidable circumstances, within one month thereafter. The learned Trial Court shall make all endeavours to take the case to its logical conclusion within one year from the date when charge is framed, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

The revisional application being CRR 3086 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
