Heard learned counsels for the parties.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for about 9 months and prays for bail. The case is yet to be committed.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. Fake Indian currency notes have been recovered from the petitioner.

Considering the nature of the offence as well as material on record, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage. The application for bail is thus disposed of. Case diary be returned.
