This is an application for cancellation of bail in respect of an order dated passed by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Basirhat, in connection with Basirhat Police Station Case No.201 dated 21.05.2009 under Sections 120B/147/448/427 /380/406/419/420/504/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Records of this revisional application reflect that the accused persons were granted interim bail on 27.07.2009 and confirmed the same on 07.11.2009. More than 12 years have passed since the order for interim bail was confirmed by the learned Magistrate.

Mr. Arijit Ganguly, learned advocate, appears on behalf of the State. His appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

No information has been received from the concerned Police Station regarding any misuse of the bail so granted. As such,

no interference is called for at this belated stage. Accordingly, CRM 11166 of 2009 is dismissed.
