However, from the representation dated February 24, 2024 this Court finds that the petitioners have alleged that the private-respondents have raised construction without obtaining any sanctioned plan from the Panchayat authorities and has made an unauthorized construction in violation of the provisions of Section 23 of the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973.

After some argument learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that liberty be given to the petitioners to submit a comprehensive representation before the appropriate authority.

Heard the learned advocate appearing for the State.

In the light of the submission made by the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners, this writ petition stands disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioners to submit a comprehensive representation before the appropriate authority.

If such a representation is submitted, the respondent authority shall consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.
