The petitioner's complaint against illegal encroachment over the Government plot of land is pending consideration before the State authority.

Learned advocate representing the private respondent denies the allegation.

Learned advocate for the State respondents is yet to receive any instruction.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Assistant Engineer, PWD (Roads) Directorate, Contai Sub-Division,

Government of West Bengal, respondent no. 4 to consider and dispose of the representation made by the petitioner, strictly in accordance with law, after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties, including the petitioner, at the earliest, but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date communication of this order. The said respondent shall pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to all the necessary parties, including the petitioner, immediately thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
