22.08.2024 rc/ct.no.34 Item No.287 CRR No. 3091 of 2024 In the matter of : Ms. Kamalika Bhattacharjee .......Petitioner Mr. Rahul Kumar Singh Mr. Subhajit Das ...for the Petitioner Since the innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of the Complaint Case No. 486 of 2022 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Municipal Court, Howrah the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the matter.

It appears from the certified copy of the order sheets that the opposite party surrendered before the learned Trial Court and obtained bail on January 25, 2023 and since then, several dates were fixed for recording plea. The accused did not appear on most of the dates. This Court is informed that the next date for plea has been fixed on September 23, 2024.

In view of the above, the learned Trial Court is directed to record plea on the next date fixed before him and in the event the same is not possible, learned Trial Court shall record the plea within one month from the next date of hearing. The learned Trial Court shall make all endeavour to dispose of the case as

expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either party, in accordance with law. The revisional application being CRR No. 3091 of 2024 is disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
