The present revision of the year 2019 has been preferred praying for expeditious disposal of the proceeding in N. Case No. 275 of 2017 arising out of Barasat P.S. Case No. 995 of 2017 dated 24.11.2017 under Section 20(b)(i) of the NDPS Act, pending before the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, 6th Court, Barasat, North 24 Parganas. As there is no representation on behalf of the State, Mr. Bitasok Banerjee, learned counsel for the State present in Court be appointed to represent the State in this case. Learned Public Prosecutor is requested to regularize his appointment.

Considering the materials on record, the revisional application is disposed of on merits with the direction to the learned Trial Court to dispose of the proceedings in the present case within a period of six months from the date of this order, if not already disposed of.

All connected application, if any, stands disposed of.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Let a copy of the order be sent to the learned trial court for compliance.
