Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Ms. Sujata Das, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. Her appearance may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

Learned advocate for the petitioner waives his right to challenge the order and proceeding relating to Deganga Police Station Case No.60 dated 15.01.2022 and prays for expeditious disposal of the case before the learned trial court. The present case was initiated in the month of January, 2022. The Investigating Authority on completion of investigation has already submitted charge-sheet on 28.02.2022. In the said chargesheet, Investigating Agency has relied upon 10 witnesses. Having regard to the fact that the case was initiated in the year 2022 and the documents and copies under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure are yet to be supplied, I direct the learned trial court to take steps for supply of the same and proceed

towards the stage of consideration of charges. After the stage of the charges are over, if the learned trial court is of the opinion that the trial is to be conducted, in that case, the learned trial court would fix at least one date in a month so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. With aforesaid observations, CRR 2796 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
