The petitioner seeks appropriate directions on the respondent authorities for updating the petitioner's records with the UCO Bank. The petitioner resigned from the concerned Company as a Director with effect from 15th July, 2020 and the personal guarantee of the petitioner was released by the Bank on 23rd March, 2021. The petitioner is aggrieved by the CIBIL score 688 in the report of August, 2022, which is a low CIBIL score and has been thus reflected in the impugned document.

The respondent Bank is represented.

It is undisputed that the Bank has not updated the present financial status of the petitioner including the release of personal guarantee. The Bank has also not communicated this fact to CIBIL for updating the CIBIL score of the petitioner.

WPA 18487 of 2022 is accordingly allowed and disposed of with a direction on the respondent Bank to communicate and transmit the present financial status of the petitioner particularly, the fact of release of personal guarantee of the petitioner to CIBIL within a period of seven days from the date of communication of this order. The CIBIL is directed to update its records as soon as it receives the communication in relation to the petitioner which shall be within an outer limit of five weeks from the date of communication by the Bank.
