The petitioner No.1 has filed an application under Section 14 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002, before the District Magistrate, Howrah. It is contended that the matter is pending since long.

The District Magistrate, Howrah shall dispose of said proceeding in accordance with law upon being satisfied that the provisions of Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act has been complied with and pass necessary orders, if not already passed. In either case, the order shall be communicated to the petitioners within a period of two months from date. The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
