And In Re : Firoja Khatun @ Bibi @ Begum .... petitioner Mr. Ali Ahsan Alamgir Ms. Soma Mal Ms. Rabia Khatoon Ms. June Modak ....for the petitioner Mr. Swapan Banerjee Mr. Suman De ...... for the State Mr. Debapriya Samanta ....... for de facto complainant Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits she is in custody for 110 days. It is also submitted that the incident occurred in the course of a quarrel. Co-accused are on bail. She prays for bail.

Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Learned Counsel for the de facto complainant also opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner had attacked the victim and emasculated him. As a result he died. In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials and

gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
