It is not in dispute that all other flat owners of the relevant building have been granted electricity connections by WBSEDCL pursuant to the directions of this Court in WPA No. 83 of 2023, WPA No. 86 of 2023, and WPA No.20201 of 2023.

The petitioner stands on the same footing as the other flat owners.

Learned advocate appearing for WBSEDCL, however, submits that since the petitioner had not specified his flat number, the connection could not be provided.

From the documents at page 40 of the writ petition, being the possession letter issued to the petitioner by the promoter, it appears that the petitioner's flat has been identified as Flat No. S-3 on the second floor of the premises in question. In view of the above, WBSEDCL is directed to provide an electricity connection to the petitioner

on the basis of the aforesaid possession letter within a period of three weeks from date, subject to compliance with all other requisite formalities. Accordingly, WPA 17986 of 2025 stands disposed of.
