Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of G.R. 905 2021 pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Howrah, the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the matter. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the F.I.R. was lodged in 2021 and since then there has been no development in the matter. Warrant of arrest was issued against the accused persons and the next date before the learned Magistrate is on 28th August, 2024.

Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the petitioner, the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Howrah is directed to exhaust all procedure for securing the attendance of the accused persons before him in connection with the case under reference and make all endeavours to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid directions, CRR 3098 of 2024 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of all requisite formalities. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
