This is a contempt application under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 filed on November 28, 2001 seeking punishment of the contemners/the first and second respondents in the writ petition for violation of an order dated July 4, 2001 passed in WP No.7137(W) of 2001. I find that since filing of the application, none moved to press this contempt application.

Considering all aspects of the matter, I feel that the petitioner is no longer interested to proceed with the application on hand.

Accordingly, the contempt application stands dismissed for non-appearance of the petitioner. [Rabindranath Samanta, J]
