The petitioner's application for general transfer has not been accepted in the online portal of School Education Department on the ground that the Pupil Teacher Ratio is not justified.

The petitioner has been asked to wait for new joining of the teacher and then his application will be considered.

It has been submitted by the respondent authorities that the petitioner cannot be transferred from the present school in the absence of any new teacher being appointed in the said school. If the petitioner is transferred, then the Pupil Teacher Ratio cannot be maintained.

It does not appear that the reason for not accepting the application for transfer is in any manner illegal. The petitioner cannot claim to be transferred as a matter of right.

The application for transfer of the petitioner may be considered by the respondent authorities by maintaining the Pupil Teacher Ratio of the school. W.P.A. 19194 of 2021 stands disposed of.
