Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the police authorities on or about 24th May, 2025, no steps have been taken. Petitioner complains of being duped at the behest of the respondent no.2 who is the widow of her deceased son.

I have considered the representation made by the petitioner to the Officer-in-Charge, Nazirganj IC, Sankrail Police Station.

Learned advocate for the State submits that prima facie from the information which was furnished no culpability was established or any cognizable offence surfaced which called for the police authorities to proceed with the accusations.

Be that as it may, petitioner would, if so advised, approach the learned Magistrate under the relevant provisions of law. Learned Magistrate would assess and ascertain regarding the accusations and thereafter pass necessary directions as he deems fit and proper.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 18047 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
