Mr. Manabendra Thakhur Mr. Animesh Roy .........for the applicant Mr. Shyamal Kumar Das Mr. Krishna Yadav ...for the alleged contemnor no.1 Contempt application is taken up for consideration in terms of order dated 28th March, when learned advocate representing alleged contemnor no. 1 has filed affidavit of compliance and same is taken on record.

On perusal of affidavit of compliance, it appears that proceeding under Section 218 of the West Bengal Municipal Act, 1993 has been concluded by passing a reasoned order dated 28th April, 2025.

In view of steps taken by the alleged contemnor no. 1, it appears that order dated 21st

September, 2023 passed by this Court in connected writ petition is complied with.

Hence, Contempt application is disposed of and contempt proceeding stands dropped.

However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law against the order dated 28th April, 2025, if so advised.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
