It appears that in the present case the petitioner was granted bail. After addition of a more serious charge, bail was cancelled and warrant of arrest was issued. As the petitioner was granted bail in connection with the same case, it is not anymore open to the petitioner to pray for anticipatory bail.

Therefore, the application for anticipatory bail is dismissed as not maintainable.

However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to pray for appropriate relief before the appropriate forum. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
