1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since after he was enlarged on bail by the court of Sessions Judge, Murshidabad on 29.04.2024, a false complaint has been lodged suo motu against him on the self-same date alleging offences under Sections 286/34 of the Indian Penal Code, read with Section 9(b) of the Indian Explosives Act.

2. Learned counsel for the State in opposing the prayer has referred to the statement of the neighbours, the seizure list and the criminal antecedents of the petitioner.

3. Considering the materials available in the case diary, the statement of the witnesses, the seizure list which shows remnants of some pieces of stone-chips and half-burnt jute thread and the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail stands rejected. (Uday Kumar, J.) (Soumen Sen, J.)
