Petitioner approached this Court as the investigating officer did not take steps on the information furnished allegedly on 05.05.2022. State has submitted a report which reflects that earlier on the complaint of granddaughter of the present petitioner, Lake Police Station Case No. 67 of 2024 was registered for investigation and subsequently charge-sheet has been submitted. Report also reflects that wife of the private respondent no.6 lodged a complaint on the basis of which Lake Police Station Case No. 68 of 2024 dated 07.04.2024 was registered for investigation and on completion of investigation, charge-sheet was submitted before the jurisdictional court. The concerned police station is well aware regarding the family feud which is existing. There are disputes amongst the co-sharers in respect of the property.

Having considered that the police authorities are well aware regarding the nature of the dispute between the relations, police authorities will only interfere, if there is violation of law and order. Petitioner, if she is facing inconveniences, she would approach the jurisdictional court in seisin of Lake Police Station Case No. 67 of 2024. The learned Magistrate would assess regarding the genuinity of the allegations and thereafter pass necessary order as he deems fit and proper.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 18097 of 2025 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
