Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner seeks statutory bail. The petitioner is in custody since 29th May, 2024.

Charge sheet is yet to be submitted.

Learned counsel for the prosecution produces the Case Diary and opposes the prayer.

In view of the above, this Court is inclined to grant statutory bail in favour of the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is allowed.

The petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Asansol, Paschim Bardhaman subject to condition that he shall not intimidate witnesses or tamper with evidence in Signed By :

any manner whatsoever and shall meet the investigating officer once in ten days, until further orders. The application for bail, being CRM (SB) 100 of 2024, is, thus, disposed of.
