Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the absolute, lawful and recorded owner in respect of the land situated at Mouza - Amla Methi, J.L. No. 21, Khatian No. 2963, Plot Nos. 568, 569, 570, 571, 572, 573, 574, 576, 755 and 578, Area-0.68 acres and the private respondents are disturbing the petitioner who is engaged in agriculture and pisciculture. The petitioner has filed a complaint on 10.07.2024 before the Officer-in-Charge, Gosaba Police Station but till date no steps have been taken against the private respondents by the police authorities.

No one appears for the private respondents even after service.

Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that all steps have been taken by the Officer-in-Charge, Gosaba Police Station on receiving the complaint dated 10.07.2024 from the petitioner.

The police shall keep a sharp vigil at the locale, ensure that no breach of peace takes place at the locale and no harm is caused to the petitioner or his family members.

With the above observation, the writ petition being WPA 18863 of 2024 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from this official website of this Court.
