Mr. Rana Mukherjee, ld. APP Mr. Sabir Ahmed ... ...For the State A status report has been placed disclosing the further course of investigation into the allegations as to the alleged disappearance of the victim involved in this case.

We have perused that status reported dated 11.01.2021 submitted by the Inspector of Detective Department, Diamond Harbour DD, CID, West Bengal. From the aforesaid report, we see that a competent criminal court is in seisin of the matter in the criminal jurisdiction and, therefore, we are of the view that the question of recovery of the victim, even if it is not accomplished till now, is a matter which would continue to be taken care of by the jurisdictional police and the appropriate criminal court where the trial of the criminal case is said to have been listed, as of now for reporting execution of warrant of arrest. We do not think that any further order is called for in this jurisdiction. If there is any grievance from the side of the victim's relatives, that is a matter which could be brought to the notice of the criminal court where the matter is now pending. We, accordingly, dispose of this writ petition leaving open all such issues filed in the year 2011. (Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan, C.J.) (Subhasis Dasgupta, J.)
