Mr. Indradeep Pal Mr. M. F. Rahaman Mr. Sougata Pal (Das) .... For the petitioner Mr. Raja Saha Mr. Biswabrata Basu Malick ... For the State It is a matter of great concern that the Tribunal application which was filed as far back as in 2017 is still pending in the docket of the Tribunal.

We are not unmindful of the fact that because of the heap of the pendency of the matters before the Tribunal, the person manning the Bench is grappling with it as each matter is important. However, it does not absolve the onerous responsibility of taking up of matters and disposing of within a reasonable time. Since the order impugned does not prejudicially affect the petitioner, we do not find any infirmity therein. However, we can appreciate the grievance shown by the petitioner because of the pendency of such matter for nearly four years.

We therefore, request the Tribunal to take up the matter on the date so fixed and thereafter efforts shall be shown to dispose of the same within a month therefrom.

The writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
