Petitioner is aggrieved regarding the inaction of the police authorities as in spite of receiving the information which was furnished on 28.07.2025 with the Officer-in-Charge, Bowbazar Police Station no steps being taken by the police authorities.
The subject matter of the said information furnished with the police station related to wrongful retention of a Scooty by one Ali Arafat Ahmed. State has submitted a report. Report reflects that Bowbazar Police Station Case No.151 dated 01.08.2025 has been registered for investigation. Since a police investigation has already commenced and a jurisdictional court is in seisin of the issue, it would be for the petitioner to ventilate further grievance before the jurisdictional court.
With the aforesaid observations, WPA 18108 of 2025 is disposed of.
There will be no order as to costs.
Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.
A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
