Sardar ... for the petitioner Mr. Ratul Biswas, ... for the Board The petitioner submits that he is a qualified candidate in terms of the recruitment notice published by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education for being appointed as primary school teacher but he, due to some unforeseen reason, could not submit the necessary documents in support of his educational qualification within the time as stipulated in the notice.

The petitioner prays for a direction upon the West Bengal Board of Primary Education to consider his educational qualification for the purpose of giving appointment.

The submission of the petitioner cannot be accepted by the Court.

A notice was published by the Board stipulating the dates within which necessary documents ought to have been submitted by the intending candidates. The

time period for submitting the necessary documents cannot be extended by orders of Court.

A candidate who fails to apply within the stipulated time losses the chance to participate in the recruitment process.

As the petitioner failed to submit the relevant documents within the time as stipulated by the Board, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant case.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on completion of usual formalities.
