Re: CAN 1 of 2023 (Modification) CAN 1 of 2023 is filed to seek modification of the order dated 8th December, 2022.

The petitioner complains that the costs for posting police picket as directed in this Court's order dated 8th December, 2022 have been calculated at Rs.3,29,616/- by the Superintendent of Police, Purba Medinipur. Such costs are prohibitive.

In those circumstances, two constables shall be posted for the said period of 12 hours in a day i.e. two shifts from 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.

Let such costs be appropriately recalculated and communicated to the petitioner.

The other parts of the order shall remain.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant application shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
